LESLEY-ANNE MORRISON
FILM BIO
Big Baby Productions is the brainchild of its Scottish owner and CEO, Lesley-Anne Morrison. After graduating from the Wimbledon School of Art, the University of Exeter and the New York Film Academy, Lesley-Anne lived and worked in the United States, where she became immersed in the independent film industry.

Lesley-Anne's experience, working as a PA on spec commercials for Levi's and other international clothing companies, helped develop her creative eye. She used her knowledge when working as a Cinematographer on the short film, "Last Night"; which held its World Premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2004. In the same year, Lesley-Anne impressed the team behind the feature film, "Brooklyn Bound", as she worked her way up to Production Coordinator of the Emerging Filmmaker's Award Winner at the 27th Denver International Film Festival.

Lesley-Anne created Big Baby Productions in 2005, while based in the US. She attended the Sundance Institute in Utah, has worked for director Tony Scott on "Spy Game"and alongside actors such as Robert Redford (All the President’s Men), Alan Cumming (X2), Piper Laurie (Carrie) and JK Simmons (Juno) among others. She and her company have also enjoyed critical acclaim and success with a series of short films and features. Lesley-Anne’s directorial debut, a short film called "W.M.D."screened at various festivals across America, at the 13th Raindance Film Festival in London and later in Paris.

After working as a crew member and director, Lesley-Anne decided to try her hand at producing with the HD feature film,"December Ends". Everyone's efforts paid off and the film won several awards including Best Drama at the Method Fest Film Festival in 2006.

This initial success continued with the company’s attachment to “Another Harvest Moon” (Grand Prize from the Rhode Island International Film Festival, 2009). Most recently, Lesley-Anne’s involvement with Indie films “The Vicious Kind” and “Dare” has seen both features screened at the Sundance Film Festival in 2009. The former is going to be broadcast through the Sundance Channel and the latter is due for nationwide release across America in November.

After gaining valuable knowledge, experience and success in the US, Lesley-Anne decided to return to her roots and is based on the west coast of Scotland. The move across the Atlantic has also meant a new lease of life for Big Baby Productions. The addition of Gregg McNeill to the team means that the company can include camera support in its repertoire.
